Group Training

PSA's performance program is a 12-week training program that offers speed, agility, and conditioning 3-5 days per week.  Each session lasts for 90 minutes, and the number of athletes per group ranges from 4 to12.

The goal of this program is to establish the fundamental movement patterns that is necessary for the acquisition of speed and power.  Priority is given to techniques that emphasize strength lifting and speed development.

PSA's performance process is ideal for individuals or teams wishing to establish a uniform training methodology for pre-season, in-season, and off-season purposes.

Athletes are grouped according to age and strength training experience.  There are three developmental levels within the pro performance series, and each focuses on different parameters of movement and skill acquisition.  Once an athlete is proficient within a given level, he/she then progress to the next level for the following twelve weeks.

Individual Training

The PSA One to One Program is the most advanced training program. Individualized training sessions focus on an athlete's specific needs and objectives. Multiple movement assessments and performance measurements are used to identify and asses areas of needed improvement. Athletes who are looking to fine tune refine elements in the pre- season often choose this. The One program also work well as a follow up to a Pro Performance Program. One sessions book quickly. There may be a waiting list to accommodate scheduling.

Post Rehabilitation

PSA works with local orthopedic physicians in establishing post rehabilitation programs for  individuals needing maintenance or entry level fitness programs. Likewise individuals coming off rehabilitation are often interested in adding a recreational or sport component  to their current level of activity. Often times individuals can prevent injuries caused by the undue stresses of work and activity if they improve upon the quality with which they  move. PSA can help you assess your movement patterns and work towards establishing  safer and more efficient movement..

Player/Team Development

PSA can help to improve on the overall athleticism of a team. Certainly, enhancing the power, strength and speed of individual players can prove beneficial to the overall team.  But more importantly think about the impact that improving the overall athleticism of the team could have on performance. PSA player and team development goes far beyond "Bigger, Faster and Stronger". We believe that an athlete or a team is only as strong as its weakest link. More importantly, players and teams often times never realize the full potential of the entire team effort as it was originally envisioned by the coaches, due to unforeseen injuries. Over half of PSA time in training is spent on injury prevention. No matter how good an athlete may be, it is extremely hard to contribute or become the MVP if sidelined by injury. This is largely related to movement patterns of the athlete and how efficiently he or she moves. Becoming more powerful, stronger and faster are all very critical components of athleticism. These same components however run somewhat parallel to being injury free or injury prone within the context on non-contact injuries. If proper strength and conditioning principle are applied using fundamental characteristics of motor learning and movement mechanics, both injury prevention and performance enhancement take place simultaneously.
